Business Analyst – Retail ERP Transformation
Liverpool (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
6-Month Contract
£350–£450 per day | Outside IR35
Send CV to: james.robinson@forsythbarnes.com
We're partnering with a well-established retail organisation that has recently completed the implementation of a new ERP system. They are now looking for an experienced, hands-on Business Analyst to support the next phase of the transformation, focusing on business process improvement, process mapping, and ensuring the new platform is fully embedded across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced transformation programme where you'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and improve operational processes.
The Role
As the Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in analysing and improving existing business processes following the ERP implementation. You'll work with stakeholders to understand current ways of working, document future-state processes, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
