About The Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst - AI Consultant to join our dynamic team for a six-month day rate contract within our Investment Management division. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor on the strategic integration of artificial intelligence across our growing investment business. Your primary focus will be on developing a practical AI strategy, optimizing data structures, and enhancing data utilization processes. This is a hands-on advisory position that offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on both front and middle-office operations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape AI initiatives that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in investment management, coupled with a proven track record of implementing AI tools and optimization strategies within a business environment. A solid understanding of data management principles, including building unified data layers and improving data ingestion, summarization, and verification processes, is essential. Candidates should have the ability to translate complex technical AI concepts into clear commercial outcomes and demonstrate credibility and pragmatism when engaging with senior stakeholders. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset are also required.

Responsibilities
- Assess the current AI capabilities within the investment business and identify opportunities for quick wins and long-term improvements.
- Develop and shape a clear AI strategy that aligns with the company's broader business goals and operational needs.
- Support the controlled rollout of enterprise AI tools, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across teams.
- Collaborate on developing use cases related to investment research and operational due diligence, leveraging AI to enhance decision-making processes.
- Enhance data ingestion, summarization, and verification workflows to improve data quality and accessibility.
- Assist in transitioning towards more advanced AI applications, such as agent-led workflows and automation.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate insights, gather requirements, and secure buy-in for AI initiatives.
