Join us as a Business Analyst at Thirteen Group!

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Business Analyst to join our Transformation and Change team on a fixed term contract for 20 months.

You'll deliver discovery and analysis activity that supports our Change and Transformation programmes. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll take the lead in understanding problems, shaping ideas, capturing requirements and helping define solutions that deliver measurable customer and business value.

This is a great opportunity to be part of an ambitious transformation journey, working on high-profile projects that are reshaping how we deliver services across the organisation, including work involving digital, Finance and HR systems.

This role is about leading people through discovery and shaping solutions, not just analysing data or producing reports.

This is a hybrid role, so you'll work at least three days a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We'll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Thirteen Benefits:

  • Salary – £47,665 per annum
  • Annual leave – starting at 28 days and rising to 31 days after three years, a day off for your birthday, plus bank holidays.

  • Simply Health – save money on common health expenses and get access to health and wellbeing support services.
  • T’dar – our Discount and Reward platform giving you huge savings on everyday brands.
  • Opportunities to buy and sell annual leave.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
