The role will involve working across a range of projects and programmes, helping to ensure that business requirements are clearly defined, understood and delivered.

- Shape options and recommendations through evidence-based analysis, helping stakeholders make informed decisions and understand trade-offs.
- Support the development of robust business cases by defining scope, benefits, assumptions, risks, dependencies and measures of success.
- Plan and facilitate requirements elicitation activities, including workshops, interviews and collaborative analysis sessions with stakeholders across the business.
- Model current and future-state processes using agreed standards and tools, identifying opportunities to simplify, improve and embed effective ways of working.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured and testable functional and non-functional requirements that support design, delivery and acceptance.
- Act as a trusted bridge between business stakeholders, delivery teams and suppliers, ensuring expectations, decisions and dependencies are clearly understood.
- Support successful adoption and delivery by contributing to testing, User Acceptance Testing, defect triage, implementation planning and business readiness activities.
- Work collaboratively with Project Management, Change Management and other Change & Transformation colleagues to ensure change is delivered in a coordinated, outcome-focused way.
- Contribute to the development of the BA Practice by improving standards, tools, templates and ways of working, and by sharing knowledge across the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
