About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at AB Agri Ltd. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of agricultural activities across multiple sites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure operational efficiency, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and the achievement of production targets. You will work closely with various departments including research and development, logistics, and sales to optimize processes and deliver high-quality products to our customers. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in agricultural operations or farm management is required, with demonstrated success in overseeing large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of crop production, supply chain logistics, and safety regulations is essential. Excellent organizational and leadership skills are necessary to manage diverse teams effectively. Proficiency in agricultural management software and data analysis tools is preferred. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing industry trends. A commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize agricultural productivity and efficiency across multiple sites. Oversee daily farm activities, including planting, harvesting, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Coordinate with research and development teams to incorporate innovative farming techniques and improve crop yields. Manage budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure cost-effective operations. Lead and motivate teams of farm workers, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with environmental policies and sustainability initiatives. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate smooth operations. Prepare reports on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
