About The Role
Triad Group Plc is seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Business Analyst to join its dynamic team. Recognized twice for "Project Excellence" by The Chartered Institute for IT & Computing Awards, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the public sector. The Senior Business Analyst will be instrumental in building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and translating these into clear, actionable requirements. This role involves defining project scope, objectives, and benefits, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals. The successful candidate will lead business analysis activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to final delivery, working closely with agile teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. This position offers flexibility, with options to work at client locations, remotely, or from our offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes, and requires active SC clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Due to the security requirements of this role, candidates must hold an active SC (Security Check) clearance. Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory. Experience working within the UK public sector or familiarity with the GDS Service Manual is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A background in agile methodologies, including Scrum, and experience in product ownership or acting as a proxy product owner will be considered beneficial.
Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for a range of activities, including but not limited to:
- Engaging with clients to understand their business needs and translating these into detailed requirements.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, end-users, and project teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Leading requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and interviews to gather comprehensive business insights.
- Defining project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Developing and managing business process models, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria within agile frameworks.
- Applying appropriate analysis techniques and tools to support project delivery at various stages.
- Contributing to the creation of MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and prioritizing features based on business value.
- Facilitating communication between technical teams and business units to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
- Supporting testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Documenting requirements, business processes, and solution designs with precision and clarity.
