Business Analyst – 18-month Fixed Term Contract

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association

Join the MND Association at a critical stage in our evolution, spearheading the transformation of our Microsoft Dynamics platforms. As a Business Analyst, you’ll drive operational excellence by refining processes, modernising systems, and enhancing support for the MND community.


Key Responsibilities

This dynamic role requires a strategic Business Analyst to:

  • Map and optimise current processes, identifying inefficiencies and fostering continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to redefine workflows using best practices and leveraging system capabilities
  • Gather, document, and translate functional/non-functional requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Facilitate workshops to challenge legacy processes, drive change, and inspire innovation
  • Support cloud migrations and ensure seamless transitions of data, systems, and functionalities
  • Plan and oversee data migrations, prioritising integrity and security
  • Contribute to system selection, configuration, and rollout strategies -aid user acceptance testing and adoption programmes
  • Bridge the gap between business teams, IT, and external partners to align goals and outcomes

About You

We’re looking for a proactive Business Analyst with:

  • Proven track record in Business Analysis
  • Strong expertise in process mapping, re-engineering, and requirements gathering
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud migrations (preferably Microsoft Dynamics, Azure DevOps, Power Platform)
  • Familiarity with charity systems, particularly those related to CRM, fundraising, and income generation
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Analytical mindset, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to manage cross-priorities independently
  • Experience in data migration and integrations
