Location: Newcastle (5 days onsite or willingness to relocate)

About the Opportunity

If you have 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and are looking to take the next step in your career, this could be a great opportunity for you. As a Business Analyst, you’ll join a collaborative team where you’ll continue to develop your expertise through meaningful project work, ongoing mentoring, and structured support from an experienced manager.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Elicit and document business requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and detailed analysis
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process maps, and documentation
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making
  • Work closely with delivery, technical, and product teams to contribute to solution design and implementation
  • Support testing, validation, and change activities to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the BA community

Tools & Techniques You May Work With:

  • Requirements & Analysis: User stories, process mapping, stakeholder analysis, acceptance criteria
  • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall (depending on project)
  • Data & Reporting: Excel, SQL, Power BI or similar tools
  • Documentation & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio or equivalent
  • Testing & Change: UAT coordination, test scenarios, business readiness activities

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders and gathering requirements effectively
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured documentation
  • Exposure to data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • A proactive mindset with a desire to continuously learn and improve
  • Willingness to work onsite as required — Newcastle
