The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of large-scale technology and business change initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
Working within cross-functional Agile teams, you'll engage with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to define business requirements, improve processes, and support the successful delivery of strategic change.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across projects, programmes, and product teams.
- Facilitate workshops to elicit, analyse, and validate business requirements.
- Produce business analysis artefacts including process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse current and future state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage requirements throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
- Work closely with Product Managers to define and prioritise product backlogs.
- Conduct impact assessments and support business change initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support Agile delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering complex technology, product, or transformation programs.
- Minimum of five years' experience within Banking, Payments, or Financial Services.
- Strong requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience producing process maps, user stories, business process models, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting Product Managers and Agile delivery teams.
- Loan valuation, collateral management, risk modelling, or asset-backed securities.
- Financial Markets, Securities Settlement, CREST, or post-trade processing.
- CRM platforms and customer or operational transformation.
Candidates with strong general Banking and Payments Business Analysis experience will also be considered.
Expertise in at least one of the following:
- FCRM (Financial Crime Risk Management) experience with Anti Money Laundering, Fraud Detection, and Sanctions screening solutions.
- ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience, preferably SAP.
- Experience as a Data Business Analyst, specialising in data requirements, data modelling, data quality, lineage, reporting, and analytics solutions.

Desirable
- BCS, IIBA, or equivalent Business Analysis qualification.
- BPMN 2.0 or business process modelling experience.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments.
- Experience supporting digital transformation programs.
