Business Analyst
Be a key player in our Digital Transformation team
Opus, the UK’s largest independent Managed Service Provider, ranked as "World class" in the Best Companies to work for awards, champions professional growth and creativity.
We’re building a specialised Digital Transformation capability and are looking for a Hands-on Business Analysis & Solution Design Lead to shape the evolution of our systems, data, and processes.
This is not a traditional Business Analyst role. Here, you’ll be deeply involved in the design and implementation of solutions—spanning systems, integrations, and data—to ensure scalable, practical outcomes.
While we operate primarily in the Microsoft ecosystem, excellence in this role demands a flexible, innovative mindset, allowing you to explore how technology, data, AI, and emerging capabilities can solve problems and transform operations holistically.
You will sit at the heart of transformation, translating business priorities into feasible, implementable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business outcomes into:
- Clear use cases
- Structured requirements
- Logical delivery increments
Design end-to-end solutions across:
- Core business systems (including Dynamics 365)
- Integrations/APIs
- Customer-facing platforms
- Data and reporting layers
Define:
- System logic & placement
- Inter-system interactions
- Data flow architecture
Collaborate with developers and delivery teams to:
- Evaluate solution approaches
- Refine requirements
- Ensure quality and clarity in builds

Audit existing processes to:
- Identify inefficiencies and manual bottlenecks
- Implement enhancements through system integration, automation, and data-led optimisation
Define success metrics, including:
- Measurement baseline
- KPIs & expected business outcomes
Data, AI & Modern Technology Focus
A cornerstone of the role involves forward-thinking opportunities in data and AI. You will:
- Design intelligent system architectures, optimised through structured data
- Reduce manual tasks via AI-driven insights & automation
- Leverage data-led process improvement to drive business value
While the role isn’t AI development-focused, you must understand:
- Key capabilities of AI
- Problem-solving applications
- Strategic alignment with operational goals
Hybrid Work Support
2–3 days on-site at our Reigate office to foster collaboration.
Remuneration
£60,000–£70,000 Directed Occupancy Earn (DOE)
The Talents We Seek
You bring:
- Business analysis, functional consultancy, and system design expertise
- Implementation-first experience beyond merely gathering requirements
- Proven ability to architect practical, buildable solutions
Technical & Strategic Knowledge:
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform (essential)
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and system data flow
- A clear grasp of how data enables efficiency improvements
- Capability to balance powerful AI opportunities with real-world feasibility
