About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets, particularly in Repo Trading, Securities Financing, and Derivatives. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, drive requirement gathering, and support strategic initiatives across Repo Trade Capture, Position Inventory Management, and related platforms.
Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Repo & Derivatives)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days/Week from London Office
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
- Drive initiatives related to Repo Trade Capture and Position Inventory Management.
- Track project deliveries against defined roadmaps and provide regular stakeholder updates.
- Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) by consolidating regional requirements into global solutions.
- Ensure complete traceability between business requirements and test cases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and technology partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including development scrums.
- Maintain and update Jira and Confluence documentation.
- Provide project governance, status reporting, and risk management.

Domain Expertise
Candidates should have strong expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Repo eTrading
- RFQ workflows and rate negotiation
- Electronic Repo trade capture
- Straight Through Processing (STP)
- Repo and Reverse Repo trading
- Exposure to platforms such as DealerWeb, Bloomberg (BBG), BGC, GLMX, Tullett Prebon, Tradition, and ION is highly desirable.
- Collateral Optimization
- Back-office clearing and settlement
- Margin processing and haircut calculations
- Collateral optimization
- Securities financing operations
- Term Repo Lifecycle
- End-to-end Repo lifecycle management
- Various Repo transaction types
- Exposure to Market Risk and General Collateral (GC) Curves is an added advantage

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Markets/Capital Markets.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Derivatives (Mandatory).
- Experience with Repo, Triparty Repo, Borrow vs. Pledge, or Securities Lending is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of Fixed Income products including:
- Bonds
- Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS)
- Agency Securities
- U.S. Treasuries (T-Notes & T-Bills)
- Working knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in Agile environments with Jira and Confluence.
