Business Analyst (Consulting)
Newcastle (3 days onsite)
£40,000 – £55,000 base + company bonus, pension & private medical
A leading global digital & technology consultancy (name withheld) are expanding their North East delivery hub. They’re looking for an SC-clearable Business Analyst to join their software delivery teams, working across major transformation programmes for high-profile clients.
What you’ll do as a Technical Business Analyst:
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
- Produce functional designs, sequence diagrams, process flows, user stories, and detailed acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Product Owners to shape and refine the product backlog.
- Support business impact assessments across multiple workstreams, identifying risks, constraints, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, UX/UI designers, and architects throughout the full SDLC.
- Run and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Advocate for user-centred, data-driven decision making within delivery teams.

You’ll ideally bring:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst working in software delivery or technical environments.
- Strong experience producing detailed artefacts (functional designs, user stories, business rules, process maps etc.).
- Ability to engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and modern digital delivery.
- Experience working within Agile teams on multi-disciplinary digital projects.
- Eligibility for SC clearance (5 years in the UK required).
