Business Analysis Chapter Lead
Lead the evolution of business analysis at Yorkshire Building Society. This is a strategic leadership role combining enterprise standards, business change excellence and professional community leadership, with strong visibility across senior stakeholders. You’ll lead a large BA community – defining how change is discovered, designed and embedded.
About the role
The Chapter Lead – Business Analysis is accountable for defining and embedding enterprise BA standards and frameworks, while leading and developing the Business Analysis community of practice.
- Own and evolve enterprise business analysis frameworks, standards, artefacts and tooling, ensuring consistent, outcome-focused discovery, requirements, process design and readiness across change delivery.
- Lead and develop the Business Analysis community (c.50 practitioners), establishing strong professional standards, capability frameworks, development pathways and communities of practice.
- Drive delivery quality and decision-making by embedding lifecycle standards, traceability and readiness measures, working cross-functionally to ensure controls, adoption and business outcomes are consistently achieved.
About you
You are a senior Business Analysis leader with a strong track record of building high-performing BA communities alongside shaping enterprise business change standards and frameworks.
- Extensive experience leading BA capability at scale, including ownership of standards, frameworks and professional community development across complex portfolios.
- Strong technical expertise across discovery, requirements, process modelling, TOM design and business readiness.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align business, delivery and risk perspectives within a regulated environment to deliver high-quality, controlled outcomes.
