🚀 We're Hiring: Business Analyst (Data)
We're supporting a major public sector organisation in delivering trusted, well-governed data products and services across Data Platform Domain Teams. Working within agile teams, you'll engage with business and technical stakeholders to define, prioritise and manage requirements — helping shape the future of data curation and self-service access across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- ✅ Understand and articulate user needs across platform consumers
- ✅ Define and manage requirements for data platforms and enabling services
- ✅ Analyse data processes and flows to support platform design and modernisation
- ✅ Support discovery, delivery and iterative improvement
- ✅ Ensure alignment with policy, security and governance standards
- ✅ Contribute to measuring outcomes linked to improved data accessibility and usability

Skills & Experience Required:
- 🔹 Stakeholder engagement and requirements management
- 🔹 Backlog refinement and 3 Amigos facilitation
- 🔹 Data governance: data lineage, data quality, data dictionary development
- 🔹 Experience working within agile delivery teams
- 🔹 Analytical skills — data process/flow analysis
- 🔹 Understanding of data platform design and modernisation
- 🔹 Good communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- 🔹 Awareness of policy, security and governance frameworks

Role Details:
- 💷 Rate: Up to £300/day
- 🔒 Clearance: Active SC
- 📍 Location: Newcastle / Manchester / Birmingham – 40% travel
