Security Information
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment. In addition, this role requires eDV clearance and ongoing eligibility for this level of security clearance. We are not currently able to consider applicants who do not hold active eDV clearance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Working closely with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will help define requirements, shape effective solutions and support the successful delivery of measurable outcomes.
You will bring strong analytical thinking, excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to operate in complex environments where collaboration, innovation and delivery excellence are essential.
- Analyse business, operational and user needs to identify clear requirements and desired outcomes.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Document current and future-state processes, requirements and solution needs.
- Produce business analysis outputs such as process maps, user stories, use cases, requirements specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct capability assessments, gap analysis and option evaluations.
- Translate complex information into clear, actionable requirements for technical and delivery teams.
- Work with project managers, architects, developers and subject matter experts throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support solution design, testing, user acceptance testing, business readiness and implementation activities.
- Maintain requirements traceability from initial discovery through to delivery and benefits realisation.
- Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints that could affect delivery.
- Provide clear updates, findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Promote business analysis best practice and contribute to continuous improvement across client and internal projects.

Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong business analysis and requirements management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Confident stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation.
- A practical understanding of business process modelling and process improvement.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good judgement and the ability to develop evidence-based recommendations.
- An understanding of testing, change adoption and business readiness.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with business architecture, service design or continuous improvement approaches.
Experience gained within consultancy, government, defence, security or another highly regulated environment is essential.
