Business Analyst – Audit Technology
Location: Watford/London (Hybrid – 1–2 days per week)
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: inside I35
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading global professional services organisation, supporting the transformation of Audit through AI, Machine Learning and Automation.
Working within the Audit Technology Innovation & Deployment team, you'll bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring innovative AI-powered audit solutions deliver measurable business value.

- Gather and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into user stories and functional requirements
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists
- Support AI and Machine Learning initiatives across Audit
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Assist with product discovery and solution design
- Support UAT, user adoption and continuous improvement
- Monitor product performance and business value
- Contribute to responsible AI governance
Essential Skills
- Proven Business Analyst experience
- Strong Audit or Assurance domain knowledge
- Product lifecycle experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience writing user stories and business requirements
- Agile delivery experience
- Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Automation or Advanced Analytics
- Strong communication and documentation skills

Desirable
- Big 4 experience
- Audit Technology or Digital Audit exposure
- Knowledge of UK Audit regulations
- Asset Management experience
- IIBA or Business Analysis certification
- Degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science or related discipline
