Contract Business Analyst – Retail Digital Transformation

Contract | Outside IR35 | Hybrid/Remote | Up to £500 per day

I'm currently working with a leading retail organisation embarking on a large-scale digital transformation and am looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join one of several Agile delivery teams.

This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile programme, helping shape the delivery of innovative digital products and customer-facing platforms. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements and ensure solutions deliver real business value.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements.
  • Translating business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Supporting Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritisation.
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings across multiple business functions.
  • Mapping current and future state processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborating with development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Supporting UAT planning and ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
