Business Analyst
Business Analyst – Full-time, Permanent
Basingstoke (hybrid) Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
Are you a detail-driven problem solver with a passion for turning ideas into solutions?
Reassured is looking for a confident and detail-driven Business Analyst to join our growing IT team. This role sits at the heart of our delivery function, working closely with stakeholders across the business to shape solutions that genuinely add value.
If you enjoy digging into detail, asking the right questions, and turning complex ideas into clear, actionable plans, you’ll fit right in.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to elicit, analyse, and document requirements for systems and software enhancements
- Translating business needs into high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Creating “as-is” and “to-be” process documentation to support change and improvement
- Managing and refining product backlogs, supporting prioritisation and delivery planning
- Acting as the bridge between business and IT teams, providing clarity and direction throughout delivery
- Facilitating workshops and discussions to drive alignment and decision-making
- Supporting User Acceptance Testing, including test case creation and defect resolution
- Monitoring scope and identifying risks to ensure delivery stays aligned to business objectives
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the BA function and wider change activity

What We Are Looking For
✅ Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a delivery-focused environment ✅ Strong requirements engineering and documentation skills ✅ Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria ✅ Confident stakeholder management with the ability to challenge and influence ✅ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills ✅ Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) ✅ Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence ✅ A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering real business value
