Business Analyst – Product Owner
About The Role
The Business Analyst – Product Owner role at CGI bridges the gap between business strategy and product delivery. In this senior professional capacity, you’ll be responsible for:
- Translating complex business requirements into high-value, actionable solutions
- Shaping product visions and prioritizing deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives

This hybrid role is based out of CGI’s offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Aberdeen, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to transformative projects in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Defining and driving the product vision to ensure strategic alignment with business goals
- Managing product backlogs, optimizing value, and maximizing return on investment (ROI)
- Eliciting and documenting requirements, creating clear user stories, and establishing acceptance criteria
- Mapping business processes and identifying operational improvement opportunities
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder workshops
- Supporting testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and deliver measurable outcomes
- Building strong stakeholder relationships, guiding decision-making, and aligning product roadmaps with key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Extensive experience in business analysis and product ownership within Agile frameworks
- Proven ability to deliver value across complex change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Expertise in:
- Defining user stories
- Establishing acceptance criteria
- Managing product backlogs
- Experience with:
- Business process modeling
- Requirements engineering
- Supporting digital transformation projects

- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
