Business Analyst | ETRM Experience, Commodity Derivatives | £120,000 + Strong Bonus | 2-3 days office, Ldn

Commodities & Energy Brokerage are going through a technology landscape transformation. As such, a big project is removing their Valuations and PnL portfolio out of their current ETRM and transferring the data to a brand new, bespoke ETRM that can facilitate the trades of Commodity & Energy Derivatives (LNG, Coal, Freight, Oil).

As such, business knowledge around Energy or Commodities is critical for this role. As is experience with a CTRM/ETRM, as new products are launched and added to the brokerage's ETRM/CTRM system.

Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will work with both front office and middle office users, with direct desk access on the trading floor, gaining exposure across the end-to-end trade lifecycle for physical LNG, Coal & Freight.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
