Overview
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Business Analyst to join our Change function. This role acts as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, effectively translated into requirements, and successfully delivered.
Working across people, process, and technology change, you will help shape improvements that enhance our operating model, strengthen regulatory alignment, support strategic goals, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, technology developers, operational teams, and wider business stakeholders to drive initiatives from idea to implementation.
This role can be based in Guernsey or Jersey.
Key Accountabilities
Business Analysis & Change Delivery
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis, translating business needs into clear, actionable documentation.
- Conduct process reviews and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders: including business leaders, operational teams, technical staff, and suppliers, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support data-driven decision-making through analysis, reporting, and insight generation.
- Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions and ensure they meet functional requirements.
- Assess and confirm business readiness to ensure successful adoption into business-as-usual operations.
- Manage and prioritise a backlog of requests and requirements, ensuring clarity, visibility, and effective decision-making.
- Promote and embody Agile principles, driving collaborative and iterative ways of working.

Operational Responsibilities
- Uphold customer confidentiality and data integrity in line with Data and IT Security policies.
- Follow clear desk and IT security practices, including secure system access.
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, including data and computer security requirements.
- Complete mandatory compliance training annually and maintain robust internal controls.
- Participate in cross-training where appropriate.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent).
Skills
- Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across teams and the wider business.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, structured outputs.
