Business Analyst (Financial Market)
We are seeking a commercially astute Business Analyst with knowledge of financial markets, to support organisational analysis, market intelligence, and strategic solution development.
The role involves analysing target organisations, identifying operational and commercial needs, advising on appropriate product use cases, and supporting cross-functional implementation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Operations and R&D teams to develop structured, commercially viable solutions.
This is an analytical and advisory role focused on business improvement, organisational assessment, and solution alignment.
Key Responsibilities

Organisational & Market Analysis Conduct detailed analysis of target organisations, including corporate structures, decision-making frameworks, and operational models Identify key stakeholders and map organisational hierarchies to assess commercial engagement strategies Analyse business models and operational workflows to determine potential areas of product application Evaluate market conditions and financial sector developments to inform strategic positioning

Business Needs Assessment & Advisory Engage with prospective clients to understand operational challenges and strategic objectives Translate client needs into structured use cases aligned with internal product capabilities Advise internal stakeholders on market requirements and commercial viability Provide analytical recommendations to improve solution fit and delivery approach

Cross-Functional Coordination Liaise with Product and Development teams to communicate market requirements and use case specifications Support the scoping of technical enhancements or configuration requirements Contribute to project planning and coordination for implementation initiatives Monitor progress against agreed deliverables

Commercial & Documentation Support Prepare structured business proposals, briefing materials, and analytical reports Draft commercial documentation including statements of work and contractual summaries Support negotiations by providing analytical insight and risk considerations Assist in evaluating commercial risk and compliance implications
Required Skills & Experience Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management or related discipline Understanding of financial markets and institutional structures Experience conducting structured market, organisational and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making Experience working with enterprise-level clients within financial services or fintech Ability to translate business needs into structured, solution-based recommendations Experience with CRM systems and data analysis tools to monitor pipelines, evaluate commercial performance, and generate insights Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams Experience supporting commercial engagements, including proposal development, pricing analysis and contractual documentation Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills Ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders
