Business Analyst – Asset Data – Utilities - £450 pd Inside IR35
We're supporting a leading organisation within the UK utilities sector on a major Asset Data transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in improving the quality, governance and management of asset data across a large operational estate. You'll work closely with operational teams, engineers, asset managers and technical specialists to understand how asset information is created and maintained, helping to deliver practical improvements that support business operations and regulatory compliance.

This is a hands-on Business Analyst position, suited to someone who enjoys engaging with stakeholders on-site, challenging existing processes and working directly with real asset datasets.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience delivering projects involving Asset Management, Asset Data or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Strong requirements gathering and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience with process mapping (As-Is / To-Be).
- Strong data analysis and data quality experience.
- Technical knowledge across several of the following: IBM Maximo, Esri ArcGIS/GIS platforms, SAP, Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Excel
- Experience in utilities, water or other regulated infrastructure environments
