Job Title: Business Analyst (Insurance)
Location: London
About The Job You Are Considering
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to support the Delegated Authority Harmonisation Program (DAHP). In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Business Architect to analyze, document, and improve business processes, helping to define global operating standards and drive alignment across multiple entities and regions.
This is a mid-to-senior level role, suited for candidates with strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement experience, and exposure to large-scale transformation programs.
Hybrid Working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
Business Process Analysis & Documentation
- Lead documentation of as-is and to-be processes across the delegated authority lifecycle:
- Onboarding
- Oversight
- Audit
- Offboarding
- Develop high-quality process maps, workflows, and artifacts (e.g., UML or equivalent)
- Conduct gap analysis between current state and target operating model
- Ensure all documentation is structured, consistent, and aligned with program standards
Delegated Authority Standards & Frameworks
- Support the definition and analysis of global delegated authority (DA) standards and guidelines
- Translate high-level architectural principles into clear business documentation
- Analyze existing policies across regions/entities to identify:
- Inconsistencies
- Improvement opportunities
- Contribute to building a harmonized global framework for DA operations
Workshops, Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Plan and facilitate workshops with SMEs and stakeholders across geographies
- Prepare:
- Agendas
- Pre-read materials
- Supporting documentation
- Capture decisions, actions, and outputs with clear traceability
- Drive engagement across diverse and cross-functional teams.

Your Skills
- Experience in Business Analysis / Process Design within the insurance industry
- Exposure to Delegated Authority (DA) is highly preferred
- Proven experience working across multiple regions or business entities
- Strong experience engaging with senior leadership / C-suite stakeholders
- Experience working in large transformation programs
- Familiarity with:
- Process modeling (UML or similar)
- Operating model design
- Experience collaborating with:
- IT Business Analysts
- Solution Architects
- Technology teams
