Accessible rail travel depends on systems that work reliably in live environments. Our Passenger Assistance Management System turns passenger assistance requests into coordinated action inside live rail operations.
We are looking for an analytically strong and highly organised intern to support our CEO across investor-related activity, executive preparation and selected strategic projects. The role combines rigorous analysis with high-quality coordination and administrative execution.
You will help prepare investor and leadership materials, organise information, coordinate actions, analyse business and market data, and ensure that important work moves forward accurately and on time. You will own clearly defined workstreams, with frequent working sessions and direct feedback from the CEO.
This role is well suited to a recent graduate or current Master’s student considering a career in venture capital, private equity, strategy consulting, corporate finance or a high-growth startup, and who wants first-hand experience of how strategic and investment-related work is managed from inside a scale-up.
Strategic Context
Transreport builds accessibility technology for transport operators. Our vision is: Everyone has access to travel everywhere.
Our platform connects passenger assistance requests and access needs with operational delivery by frontline staff, helping transport operators coordinate accessible journeys more reliably. We operate across the UK, Japan and Europe, have supported more than 10 million assistance requests for over 1.8 million users, and have been recognised with a King’s Award.
Tasks
- Support the CEO in preparing investor presentations, briefing notes, meeting materials and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate documents, requests, deadlines and open questions across investment-related workstreams.
- Prepare clear and accurate financial, commercial and market analysis using Excel and other tools.
- Turn complex information into concise, logically structured PowerPoint presentations.
- Research investors, markets, competitors and relevant industry developments.
- Check that figures, assumptions and messages are consistent across materials.
- Track actions arising from meetings and help ensure that commitments are followed through.
- Support selected CEO-led strategic projects, from initial research through to final recommendation or output.
- Handle commercially sensitive information with discretion and appropriate judgement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
