About RNID

We are RNID: the national charity supporting the 18 million people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.

Together, we will end the discrimination faced by our communities, help people hear better now and fund world-class research to restore hearing and silence tinnitus.

We work with our communities and partners across industry, government, charity, education and more to change life for the better.

RNID has a proud history and big ambitions. We’re focused on making the greatest impact possible across the whole of the UK. We champion the latest technology and the opportunities it brings. We also know the value of a friendly face in local communities to support people where they need it most.

Join our team

At RNID we have big, ambitious plans to make real impact for our communities. To do that, we need the right people in our team.

We are a remote working organisation, with colleagues based across the UK in locations from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands and everywhere in between. We come together in person two times a year for our Staff Summits, inspirational events for sharing skills and ideas, hearing from external speakers and spending quality time with colleagues. Working in this way, we bring together the best of digital and in-person working in a modern, progressive organisation. We know our colleagues have responsibilities and interests outside work and we want to support that, which is why we offer a sector-leading flexible working policy to all our staff from day one.

Our values are at the heart of how we work and communicate with each other, and the outside world. We strive to be an organisation that is connected, insightful, curious and passionate in everything we do.

Does that sound like a good fit? If so, we can’t wait to hear from you…

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role Overview

We're looking for a collaborative and curious Business Analyst to join our Finance and Data team. In this role, you'll work with teams across RNID to understand challenges, uncover opportunities and develop solutions that improve the way we work. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders, translate business needs into actionable requirements and help deliver data and system improvements that support better decision-making across the organisation.

You will be responsible for work across multiple projects and programmes, partnering with stakeholders throughout RNID to understand business challenges, define requirements and support the design of effective solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring that improvements are aligned to organisational priorities and deliver meaningful value for our communities.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead investigations into business processes, information flows, data structures and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, analyse and document business and user requirements using techniques such as workshops, user stories, and use cases.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to shape solutions, challenge assumptions and ensure proposed changes meet business and user needs.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and continuous improvement principles to support the successful design and delivery of business, data and reporting solutions.
  • Facilitate decision-making by providing clear analysis, identifying impacts and risks, and helping colleagues make informed choices.

You

You are an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical, facilitation and stakeholder management skills. You have a track record of capturing requirements, modelling business processes and working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleagues to deliver positive outcomes. You are naturally curious, comfortable challenging established ways of working and able to bring people together around pragmatic solutions. Experience working with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Agile delivery approaches and tools such as Azure DevOps would be highly beneficial. Experience within the charity sector is desirable.

Disability Confident

Disability Confident is a government scheme designed to encourage employers to recruit and retain disabled people and those with health conditions. It has replaced the previous Two Ticks Positive About Disabled People scheme that you may have heard of.

RNID is proud to be a member of Disability Confident and as a Disability Confident Leader we recognise the value disabled people bring to RNID. We offer interviews to any candidate that tells us they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the role.

It is important to note that in certain recruitment situations such as high-peak times, the employer may need to limit the overall numbers of interviews offered. This will include the number of interviews offered to disabled people that meet the minimum criteria for the job.
