Business Analyst - Fintech Solutions

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst based in United Kingdom.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping innovative fintech solutions by transforming business needs into actionable product improvements. You will work at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer requirements, helping teams deliver scalable solutions for financial platforms and digital services. This remote-first role offers the opportunity to collaborate with international stakeholders, analyze market trends, and contribute to products designed for evolving financial ecosystems. You will combine analytical thinking, technical understanding, and strong communication skills to support integrations, optimize processes, and enhance user experiences. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys solving complex problems and driving meaningful product outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct detailed business analysis for fintech projects, product initiatives, and platform enhancements.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Gather, evaluate, and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and focus groups.
  • Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, user stories, use cases, workflows, and functional specifications.
  • Identify gaps in existing products and processes and recommend practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams and third-party providers to support API and SDK integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to sales, operations teams, and partner engineering teams.
  • Participate in solution testing, troubleshooting, implementation, and post-launch monitoring activities.
  • Develop technical documentation, integration guides, user manuals, and training materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives and deliver product demonstrations to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of business and technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar role.
  • Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and project management practices.
  • Experience working with fintech, SaaS platforms, or digital financial products is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of API integrations and experience collaborating with technical teams on third-party system integrations.
  • Understanding of usability principles and UI/UX design concepts, including experience with tools such as Figma.
  • Basic technical knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, UML, and Google Workspace applications.
  • Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and user interface sketches.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
