Job Description
Business Analyst – MetricStream Global Solutions Team
Location: London
Role Overview
The Business Analyst serves as the bridge between client stakeholders and the MetricStream implementation team, ensuring that customer requirements are accurately captured, translated into functional configurations, and delivered successfully within the GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) platform.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Requirements
- Conduct discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business and functional requirements
- Document current-state processes and map them to MetricStream's capabilities (controls, risks, audits, issues, certifications, etc.)
- Develop Functional Specifications, Best Practices, Lessons Learnt, and process flow diagrams
- Identify gaps between client needs and out-of-the-box MetricStream functionality and propose solutions

Implementation & Configuration Support
- Work closely with technical consultants to translate requirements into platform configurations
- Support data migration activities including legacy data mapping, template preparation, and validation
- Assist in creating and reviewing test cases for UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Facilitate UAT sessions and track defect resolution through to closure
Project Delivery
- Collaborate with Project Managers to track milestones, risks, and deliverables
- Maintain project documentation including meeting notes, action items, and status reports
- Support change management activities including training material development and end-user walkthroughs
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for functional queries during implementation
- Manage client expectations and escalate issues appropriately
- Build trusted relationships with client business and IT teams
Skills And Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or GRC-related implementations
- Familiarity with GRC concepts such as SOX compliance, internal controls, risk management, audit management, or regulatory compliance
- Strong skills in requirements documentation, process mapping, and functional writing
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with MetricStream or similar GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, SAP GRC)
- Exposure to enterprise clients in industries like banking, financial services, healthcare, or technology
- Understanding of Agile and waterfall project delivery methodologies
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or any GRC-related certification (e.g., CISA, CRISC) are a plus

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams across concurrent projects
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Attention to detail with a client-first attitude
