Job Title: Telecom Business Analyst

Experience: 10 Years+
Work Locations: London & Birmingham

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Telecom Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in the telecommunications sector to join our delivery team. You will be instrumental in driving a critical network and infrastructure transformation initiative for a major UK telco provider, focusing on enterprise-grade connectivity platforms.

About the Role

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical architecture teams and commercial stakeholders, specifically focusing on active wholesale and B2B enterprise divisions. Your primary mandate will be to define, capture, and translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications for enterprise Ethernet products, ensuring seamless provisioning, migration and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Elicitation & Management: Partner with product managers, network architects, and commercial stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the new network ecosystem.
  • Product Alignment: Leverage your deep understanding of enterprise Ethernet services (e.g., Leased Lines, E-Line, E-LAN, Dedicated Internet Access) to map out "as-is" and "to-be" processes for product fulfillment, assurance, and billing.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business units (including wholesale and active partner divisions) and technical delivery squads. Facilitate workshops to align cross-functional teams on project scope and deliverables.
  • Process Mapping & Gap Analysis: Model complex B2B telecom user journeys and technical workflows. Conduct gap analysis between legacy infrastructure and the new target architecture.
  • Agile Delivery: Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. Maintain and prioritize the product backlog using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Testing & Cutover Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define end-to-end testing frameworks to ensure successful cutovers for network applications and provisioning systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
