Job Title: SAP Business Analyst – Finance, AI & Data Integration | BT Programme

Description:

BT is hiring for their Enterprise Technology transformation programme. We're looking for experienced SAP Business Analysts across three specialist tracks — Finance, AI Use Cases, and Data & Integration. If you have deep SAP BA experience in any one of these areas, we want to hear from you.

Location: UK – Bristol / London (Hybrid)

Rate: £450–500 per day (Inside IR35)
Engagement: Contract 12 Months

TRACK 1: SAP FINANCE BUSINESS ANALYST

Work with Finance users, SAP functional teams, and delivery partners to turn business needs into clear requirements and practical SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.

Must Have:

  • BA experience in SAP Finance, ERP, or Finance transformation
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Controlling, close, reporting) and SAP Finance/S/4HANA concepts
  • Requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and workshop facilitation
  • Experience supporting UAT, defect management, and business readiness

  • SAP Signavio, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, Jira, or Azure DevOps
  • Exposure to controls, audit, reconciliations, or Finance close processes

TRACK 2: SAP AI USE CASE BUSINESS ANALYST

Help identify, define, and shape SAP AI use cases that solve real business problems — connecting business teams, SAP specialists, data, security, and delivery leads.

Must Have:

  • BA experience in AI, automation, analytics, SAP, or digital transformation
  • Ability to translate business problems into clear use cases, user stories, and measurable outcomes
  • Understanding of enterprise AI concepts: human-in-the-loop controls, data quality, responsible AI
  • Experience defining adoption metrics, pilot success criteria, or benefits tracking

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP BTP, SAP Build, or AI copilots
  • Experience in Finance, Procurement, HR, or Supply Chain domains

TRACK 3: SAP DATA & INTEGRATION BUSINESS ANALYST

Define and manage business requirements across SAP data, interfaces, reporting, migration, and reconciliation — reducing delivery risk and improving data confidence.

Must Have:

  • BA experience in SAP data, integration, reporting, migration, or ERP transformation
  • Understanding of data quality, master data, interfaces, reporting, and migration lifecycle
  • Experience documenting data mapping, integration requirements, and test scenarios

Good to Have:

  • Experience with cutover, mock migration cycles, or data cleansing
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, BTP Integration Suite, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, or BW
