Business Analyst Manager
Business Analyst Manager – Operational Change (Manchester)

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Business Analyst Manager to join their Operational Change team in Manchester.
As a leader, you will:
- Develop and guide a team of Business Analysts

Purpose of the Role
To lead the provision of business analysis services supporting AJ Bell’s growth and cost objectives, including:
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver continuous improvements, new products, and functionality
- Implementing change across the department aligned with strategic goals and improved ways of working
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on business analysis services for Operations and Regulatory Divisions, ensuring measurable impact on profitability and organisational effectiveness.
- Work with executive stakeholders to:
- Align business and IT improvements with strategic objectives
- Define strategies, prioritise requirements, and conduct feasibility studies
- Develop organisational-level and detailed business models
- Direct holistic solutions from concept through implementation
- Identify opportunities from organisational/technological change and define initiatives to exploit them.
- Advise and influence executive leadership throughout the business change lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategy and enterprise architecture.
- Communicate effectively with executives, staff, and stakeholders across all levels.
- Manage team operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery according to agreed methodologies.
- Remove blockers or escalate issues as needed.
- Liaise with external suppliers on deliverables.
- Support production incidents as required.
- Conduct performance reviews with coaches on achievements and improvement areas.
- Support regulatory compliance (e.g., consumer duty initiatives).
