Business Analyst – Future Post Production Project (Fixed Term, 9 Months) – ITV Studios
Contract Type: FTC (Fixed Term Contract) – 9 months Location: White City, London – Expectation: 1-2 days per week in the office Closing Date: 11th June 2026 Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
About the Role
The media and post-production landscape is rapidly evolving. ITV Studios is reviewing how services in this space are delivered, embracing innovative cloud-based workflows and AI tooling to streamline processes, enhance creativity, and maximise the value of our intellectual property.
To shape this future direction, we’re seeking a Business Analyst for a fixed-term contract to deliver analytical thinking, define proofs of concept (PoCs), pilots, and product evolution.
As a Business Analyst within the Studios Technology team, you will:
- Lead user-focused analysis of the current post-production and media asset management (MAM) landscape.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, architects, engineers, and teams from production, technology, and operations to define future strategy.
- Provide evidence-based insights to secure commercial advantage for ITV, including analysis of software, hardware, business processes, and financial investments.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team towards enabling transformation in this critical space.
About the Team
The Studios Technology team is responsible for delivering the technology that powers ITV Studios’ global content business—enabling production teams to create exceptional programmes and ensuring content discovery and sales worldwide.
The Future Post Production project is a cross-functional initiative involving architects, analysts, engineers, and post-production experts globally. We foster a collaborative culture, open to innovation and new perspectives, with a strong emphasis on learning and problem-solving.
You will report to the Programme Manager and work closely with technologists across Studios Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand current processes:
- Map and validate business processes, structures, and tooling through discussions with stakeholders.
- Identify pain points and opportunities in post-production and MAM workflows.

Define and prioritise requirements:
- Establish functional and non-functional requirements for future systems.
- Develop detailed acceptance criteria and oversee testing to ensure alignment with user needs.

Analyse gaps and drive change:
- Conduct gap analysis to identify training needs.
- Partner with business change teams to ensure user readiness.

Support strategic backlog management:
- Collaborate with Product Managers and project teams to capture, refine, and prioritise ongoing changes.
- Align updates with strategic business goals.

Essential Skills & Experience
You must demonstrate the following minimum criteria:

| Industry experience | At least 3 years in Business Analysis, Product Management, or Delivery roles. |
| Media/Post-Production Exposure | Experience (or deep understanding) of media asset management, post-production workflows, video/audio transfer, transcoding, delivery formats, and archiving. |
| Analytical & Process Skills | Proven business process analysis, data analysis, and financial modelling skills. |
| Requirements Elicitation | Ability to gather requirements through collaborative workshops and stakeholder interviews. |
| Technical Clarity | Strong ability to distil complex data and ambiguity into clear, actionable insights. |
| Test-Driven Work | Skilled in writing testable user stories using Gherkin syntax and proficient in priority frameworks (MoSCoW, RICE, WSJF). |
| Agile Methodologies | Experience working in Agile environments. |
| Communication | Excellent written and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences (up to executive level). |
