About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our dynamic team at The Phoenix Partnership. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our healthcare software solutions that serve a diverse range of healthcare providers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, clinicians, and other developers, to deliver innovative features and ensure the seamless integration of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a passion for healthcare technology, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of our users. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software development, particularly within healthcare or similar regulated environments, is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, along with familiarity with database management systems like SQL Server or Oracle, is essential. Candidates should have a good understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment are critical. Prior experience with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, or DICOM will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing new features and enhancements for our healthcare software platforms, ensuring they are robust, secure, and user-friendly.
- Collaborating with product teams to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conducting code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
- Integrating third-party healthcare systems and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection and security regulations.
- Maintaining documentation related to software design, development processes, and user manuals.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and staying updated on emerging technologies relevant to healthcare IT.
