Business Systems Analyst (2+ years technical experience in Financial Services)
Job Requirements
- Defines business/system requirements by:
- Facilitating user meetings and interviews
- Developing use cases
- Researching and resolving issues
- Participates in business analysis project planning and management by:
- Documenting and maintaining project plans
- Managing issue logs
- Preparing project documentation
- Analyzes current processes and recommends improvements/solutions
- Oversees the acquisition, analysis, and dissemination of subject matter knowledge
- Provides technical and business knowledge to users and teams
- Keeps up with technological and competitive developments
- Experience in analysis and testing phases of the development lifecycle
- Minimum 2+ years of technical business analysis experience in banks/financial institutions
- Confidence in engaging with business and technology stakeholders
- Strong analysis skills, proficiency in Excel and Python (data analysis), and SQL
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
- Comfortable with Python (including NumPy and Pandas) for data analysis

Job Responsibilities
- Conducts data analysis using SQL (and Python as needed) for future feature requests
- Supports day-to-day application-related issues/queries from users
- Documents use cases/stories based on user requirements
- Knowledge of Securities Financing is a nice-to-have
- Participates in daily meetings with development/testing teams in Global Offshore centers
- Provides feedback to developers and QA teams as needed
- Interacts with internal/external teams and business users across project-related topics
- Manages day-to-day prioritization of development and QA work
