Business Analyst

Location: Remote with visits to Buckinghamshire office once a month
Industry: FinTech SaaS

Do you have 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in Working Capital or Asset Finance?
Do you want to join a scaling business that's just received significant investment?

Our client is a leading Global FinTech SaaS vendor with a reputation for industry-leading solutions. You will be joining as they continue to scale their EMEA operation following significant recent investment. You will be joining a business of over 1000 people globally, where employees have excellent longevity and a professional and mature working culture.

As a Business Analyst, you will focus on customer’s business processes and requirements and incorporate those processes and requirements in designs, product development and quality assurance. You will develop and maintain a strong and positive business relationship with Product Management to clearly understand the customers’ business as well as their short and long term business objectives. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required whilst having the ability to perform.

Business Analyst - Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, and document functional business requirements using appropriate methodologies (e.g., use cases, user stories, supplementary specifications, narratives)
  • Translate product management objectives into detailed functional designs, business scenarios, and test scenarios
  • Manage multiple priorities across projects with strong organization and attention to detail
  • Follow established design procedures and lead business analysis activities for assigned projects
  • Coordinate and deliver functional design artifacts to Development and QA teams
  • Ensure solutions align with business requirements and design objectives
  • Develop detailed test scenarios and validation criteria to ensure requirements are implemented as intended

Business Analyst - Requirements

  • 3+ years' in Working Capital, Asset Based Lending, or Asset Finance
  • Ideally 3+ years' of experience working on SDLC / software projects
  • Technical skills and tools that allow you to perform analysis of design and system issues i.e. SQL Queries
  • Ability to build relationships quickly with clients
  • Clear communication - both written and verbal
  • Ability to listen to customers and business expert, analyse their requirements and supply solutions
