Role Overview
We are working with a London market insurer to find a Business Analyst for a key transformation initiative on their Outwards Reinsurance programme. Reporting into the Head of Business Analysis, you'll act as the vital link between upstream and downstream systems, working closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to shape the future state Outwards Reinsurance function.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog with the Product Owner, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives
- Define the product roadmap alongside various team members
- Document business requirements and user stories with full traceability, using Gherkin syntax for acceptance criteria
- Support business process mapping and TOM documentation for the future state function
- Adapt to the established Agile process, keeping deliverables on track

Requirements
- Business Analyst experience within Outwards Reinsurance or broader London market insurance
- Strong Agile delivery background, comfortable working across Product Owner and Scrum Master functions
- Proven ability to write clear, traceable requirements and user stories, including Gherkin syntax
- Experience with process mapping and TOM documentation
- Strong stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
