The Vacancy
As a Business Analyst you will be joining our Business Solutions Team. Business Solutions is responsible for facilitating the technology needs of multiple business lines in support of the Foresters Financial strategic goals, visions, and values.
You will work closely with key stakeholders to gather customer requirements, translate them into clear requirements documents, write compelling business cases and proposals, and implement those approved and prioritized by the business to deliver cost-effective solutions. You need to be detail oriented, yet able to see the big picture and work with the overall business, both in the day to day and at management levels, to drive a strategy which optimizes the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges.
- Seek out systems solutions that can be leveraged to meet business requirements
- Recognise and recommend opportunities for business improvement
- Provide key subject matter expertise to establish the contribution that proposed changes can make to business objectives and strategy.
- Work with the business in capturing high-level requirements and epics, deconstructing high-level requirements into user stories, and completing the Requirements Model with the Development Team
- Maintain and develop knowledge of business processes, product knowledge, system interfaces and data models
- Co-ordinate activities with 3rd party suppliers aligning tasks to joint delivery plans
- Reconcile system deliveries against requirements to ensure business expectations are met
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share solutions and/or outputs from analysis

What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience in a Business Analyst role
- Financial Services experience is advantageous
- SQL Server Management Studio skills (or knowledge of)
- Demonstrable experience of working on Projects
- Previous experience in requirements definition
- Strong IT/technical experience
- Good knowledge in Microsoft applications
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Great communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
