Business Analyst - ( P&C Insurance)
Senior Business Analyst (P&C Insurance – Commercial & Specialty Lines, London Market)
Location: London (100% Onsite) Contract Type: Fixed Term
About the Role
With the client’s strategic priorities focused on leveraging data and transforming their operating model, this Senior Business Analyst role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects driving success.
As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support the implementation of solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs
- Document detailed business requirements and use cases
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure technical feasibility
- Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for enhancement
- Develop process models and workflows to optimize operations
- Recommend and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate regular meetings to communicate project updates and gather feedback
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure effective collaboration
- Gather and analyze data to support business decision-making
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards for stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting processes
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
- Monitor project progress and report status to management

Technical Qualifications
- Proven 7+ years’ experience in business analysis, with 3 years’ experience in the London market insurance (P&C industry).
- Strong background in analyzing underwriting projects.
- Ability to adapt seamlessly between Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Understanding of product management and Agile practices.
- Preferred: Experience working on AI projects (though not strictly necessary).
- Preferred: Experience on integration projects.
