Business Analyst – Private Equity & Credit Trading
Hybrid - London
Contract
£480 - £580 per day inside IR35
We are seeking a front-office aligned Business Analyst to support a strategic investment platform programme. This role will work closely with investment, trading, and technology teams, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable, business-critical solutions across private equity and credit trading workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with Front Office, investment and trading teams to capture and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support the delivery and enhancement of strategic investment and trading platforms.
- Analyse front-to-back workflows across private equity, credit trading, portfolio management, and reporting.
- Work closely with technology teams to define functional specifications, data flows, and process improvements.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, and business process analysis.
- Support platform transformation, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Skills and Experience:
- Strong Business Analysis experience within investment management, private equity, asset management, or credit trading environments.
- Good understanding of front-office investment workflows and trading processes.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.
- Experience working on strategic platform or transformation programmes.

Desirable:
- Exposure to investment platforms, data/reporting solutions, or portfolio systems.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Knowledge of private markets, credit products, or alternative investments.
