Business Analyst / Process Improvement Lead – Digital Transformation
Opus – UK’s Largest Independent Managed Service Provider
Be a key player in our Digital Transformation team. The Business Analyst / Process Improvement Lead acts as Opus’ internal design engine, diagnosing and reshaping end-to-end business processes through Microsoft platforms.
About the Role
You will provide expert analysis and system design leadership, enabling business outcomes and managing delivery execution. Improvements will be delivered through a disciplined, quarterly framework—ensuring changes are effectively implemented and sustained.
You will influence:
- Deep Diagnosis: Analyse how the business operates (not just documented processes) to uncover root causes of inefficiencies.
- Solution Shaping: Translate business goals into executable plans, balancing automation and human intervention while aligning with the Microsoft technology stack.
- Expert Advisor: Partner with business leaders to guide strategy, prioritise initiatives, and drive data-led decision-making.
- Focused Execution: Maintain a structured quarterly approach to deliver measurable, enduring results.
- Quality Bridge: Ensure solutions align with business needs without getting lost in technical complexities.

Salary: £65–£70k DOE (Negotiable based on experience) Equivalent titles include: Digital Transformation Lead
The Talents We’re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in business analysis of complex, end-to-end processes.
- Proven track record diagnosing operational pain points and identifying high-impact improvements.
- Experience shaping enterprise systems solutions involving:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Power Platform
- AI technologies
- Solution Design / Architecture expertise.
- Comfortable defining solution direction without managing delivery execution.
- Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge while maintaining alignment.
- Ability to stay focused, structured, and resilient under pressure.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., PACe, 4DX, Lean).
- Familiarity with Datalake / lakehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Fabric).
- Experience in scaling or fast-growing organisations.
- Strong systems thinking mindset to assess holistic impact.
