About the role

We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our team! In this role, you’ll take the lead or collaborate closely in driving key improvement initiatives across different areas of the business.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations, IT) to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities related to digital channels (websites, mobile apps, social media, CRM systems, etc.)
  • Translating complex business requirements into clear, concise, and detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis of existing digital processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Demonstrating a deep knowledge of the requirements that have been gathered - becoming the SME on what is being asked for and why.
  • Articulating these to development teams and working with them to produce estimates for the work.
  • Facilitating workshops, interviews to gather comprehensive requirements.
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of Digital Delivery to assist with building the road map and strategy for our group Digital platforms.
  • Supporting the testing teams when applications are being tested.
  • Working knowledge of service management to help with understanding the impact a project can have on BAU service teams.

We’re looking for someone who has

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on digital products, services, or transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements for technology solutions.
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of workflow management tools such as JIRA.
  • The ability to effectively communicate project progress, risks, issues, and decisions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Clear documentation skills.
  • Good Stakeholder Management.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Business systems implementation knowledge.
  • IT Systems and integration experience.
  • Good problem solving skills.
