About Scrumconnect Consulting

Scrumconnect Consulting is a people-first digital consultancy delivering impactful solutions across both the public and private sectors. We specialise in building high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams that work on mission-critical digital transformation programmes. As a Disability Confident employer, we are proud to foster a culture centred on learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement, where everyone is supported to do their best work and grow their career.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst with a strong background in data-driven projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, preferably within Central Government and public sector digital programmes. You will play a critical role in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality digital and data solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in business process analysis, process mapping, change management, stakeholder engagement, and working with complex operational and technical processes, including data flows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements to support data and digital initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define and document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business and operational processes.
  • Analyse, understand, and map complex operational and technical processes, including end-to-end data flows.
  • Design and document new operational and technical processes that support business transformation and service improvements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and technical delivery teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions to gather requirements and drive consensus.
  • Support the development and implementation of business intelligence and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to data management principles and best practices across projects.
  • Support change management activities, assessing and managing impacts to products, services, and operational processes.
  • Create, manage, and maintain Jira tickets, user stories, and Agile backlogs.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
