You will play a critical role in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality digital and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements to support data and digital initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Define and document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business and operational processes.
- Analyse, understand, and map complex operational and technical processes, including end-to-end data flows.
- Design and document new operational and technical processes that support business transformation and service improvements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and technical delivery teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions to gather requirements and drive consensus.
- Support the development and implementation of business intelligence and reporting solutions.
- Ensure adherence to data management principles and best practices across projects.
- Support change management activities, assessing and managing impacts to products, services, and operational processes.
- Create, manage, and maintain Jira tickets, user stories, and Agile backlogs.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
