Job Title: Business Analyst – Retail Energy

Location: Euston, London (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months+

Rate: 550 GBP/Day Inside IR35

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading Retail Energy client on a major transformation programme. The successful candidate will work across business and technology teams, supporting operational change, process improvements, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness activities.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Business Analysis experience who is comfortable working in complex change programmes involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Project Managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver programme objectives.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Produce and maintain As-Is and To-Be process documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Perform business impact and change impact assessments.
  • Support business process improvement and operational readiness activities.
  • Analyse risks, issues, and dependencies, providing recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Create high-quality BA documentation including business requirements, process maps, and functional specifications.
  • Ensure effective communication between business users and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within large transformation programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience creating process maps and business documentation.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Visio, Miro, and Microsoft Office.

Desirable

  • Experience within the Retail Energy or Utilities sector.
  • Knowledge of operational change and business readiness.
  • Experience with Power BI or reporting tools.
  • BCS Business Analysis or Agile BA certification.
