Business Analyst – SAP S/4HANA Migration
Up to £650 per day - Inside IR35
Hybrid in Central London
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major SAP S/4HANA migration programme within a leading Financial Institution. Acting as the primary UK point of contact, you will work closely with business stakeholders and our nearshore delivery partner to ensure business requirements are understood, documented and successfully delivered.
The role requires strong expertise in Insurance Finance and Collections processes, combined with proven experience supporting ERP transformation and migration initiatives. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology teams, driving requirements definition, process improvement, testing and business readiness activities throughout the programme lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the UK business-facing lead for the SAP S/4HANA migration programme, working closely with business stakeholders, SMEs and nearshore delivery teams.
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements relating to Finance, Collections and associated insurance processes.
- Facilitate workshops to understand current ("As-Is") processes and define future-state ("To-Be") operating models.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for delivery teams.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP S/4HANA capabilities and best practices.
- Support data migration, process mapping, gap analysis and solution design activities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT and third-party partners to resolve issues and manage dependencies.
- Review and validate solution designs, process changes and system configurations.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), supporting test planning, defect management and business sign-off activities.
- Provide regular progress updates and act as a key liaison between UK stakeholders and nearshore delivery teams.
- Support change management, training and business readiness activities to ensure successful adoption of the new platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
