Business Analyst & Solution Design Lead
Business Analysis & Solution Design Lead
Be a key player in our Digital Transformation team. Opus, the UK’s largest independent Managed Service Provider and recently ranked as "world class" by Best Companies to Work For, is building a focused capability and seeks a hands-on Business Analysis & Solution Design Lead to shape how our systems, data, and processes evolve. This is not a traditional analyst role—you’ll design and deliver solutions, ensuring they’re practical, scalable, and impactful.
About the Role
You’ll sit at the centre of transformation, turning business priorities into clear, buildable solutions that deliver real outcomes. While we operate primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Power Platform), you’ll think beyond platforms—leveraging technology, data, and emerging capabilities like AI to solve problems and drive operational change.

Translate business outcomes into:
- Clear use cases
- Structured requirements
- Logical delivery increments
-
Design solutions across:
- Core business systems (e.g., Dynamics 365)
- Integrations/APIs
- Customer-facing platforms

-
Define conventions for:
- Where to place business logic
- System interactions
- Data flows
- Success metrics (measurement frameworks, baselines, expected outcomes)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
