Role: Business Analyst (London Insurance Market ecosystem, Specialty Insurance)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced seasoned Insurance Domain Business Analyst with London Insurance Market and Business Analysis expertise to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

London Market Expertise

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the London Insurance Market ecosystem, including syndicates, cover-holders, brokers, and the Xchanging bureau.
  • Ability to analyze and document end-to-end placement processes for specialty insurance within the London Market.
  • Support projects involving Lloyd’s of London and related market participants.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements from underwriting, claims, and operations teams.
  • Map current workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure solutions align with business needs.

Regulatory & Reporting Compliance

  • Should have an understanding of the regulatory reporting requirements for managing agents and syndicates.
  • Should have worked/participated on projects to prepare and validate reports for Lloyd’s, FCA, and PRA compliance.
  • Should have working on supporting reinsurance reporting and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with senior stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
