About The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our client’s Funding, Treasury and Liquidity (FTL) Program based in London. The successful candidate will report directly to the Pre-Trade Product Owner and become an integral part of a global development team. This role primarily focuses on pre-trade activities within the Central Funding Group, with a key emphasis on the ATOM application—a greenfield, global front-office analytics, risk, and trade order management platform utilized across the organization. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for delivering platform enhancements, supporting daily trading operations, and ensuring seamless communication between traders, technology teams, and senior management. The role involves participating in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and workshops to testing and deployment sign-off, providing a unique opportunity to influence critical systems within a major financial institution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
