Business Analyst – Front Office Asset Management Platforms

Permanent · Remote-first

The Opportunity

Front Office transformation programmes sit at the heart of modern Asset Management firms. Whether it's portfolio management platforms, order management systems, trading workflows, market data solutions, or investment operations, these initiatives demand Business Analysts who can bridge the gap between investment teams and technology delivery.

We're looking for a Business Analyst who understands how investment businesses operate, can navigate stakeholder complexity, and has experience delivering change across critical front office platforms.

If you've worked alongside Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Operations teams, and technology specialists to deliver meaningful transformation, we'd like to hear from you.

About DigX

DigX is a specialist consultancy delivering technology, data, and business transformation across complex regulated environments. We help organisations modernise platforms, improve operational efficiency, and deliver change that creates measurable business value.

Our consultants combine deep domain expertise with practical delivery experience, enabling clients to navigate complexity with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

Working across complex transformation programmes, you'll provide the analysis, structure, and stakeholder engagement that keeps delivery aligned to business outcomes. Day to day, that means:

  • Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements across front office investment functions
  • Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Investment Operations, and Technology teams to understand current-state processes and define target operating models
  • Supporting the implementation, enhancement, or integration of Front Office platforms including OMS, EMS, portfolio management, and market data solutions
  • Translating business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables for technical teams and vendors
  • Leading workshops, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder forums across multiple business functions
  • Managing requirements, dependencies, risks, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting testing, business readiness, and implementation activities to ensure solutions meet operational and regulatory requirements
  • Producing high-quality business analysis artefacts including requirements documents, process maps, user stories, and impact assessments

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
