We are partnering with a leading global insurance organisation that is undergoing a major business transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Lead Reinsurance Business Analyst / Platform Product Specialist to play a pivotal role in the rollout of a global reinsurance broking platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reinsurance Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party solution providers, helping to drive the successful delivery of a strategic platform transformation.

The Role

As the Lead Reinsurance Business Analyst, you will take ownership of analysis across the reinsurance domain, acting as the subject matter expert for the platform and ensuring business requirements are translated into effective technology solutions.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, technology teams and delivery partners to improve processes, enhance platform capabilities and support the successful implementation of a global broking solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Analyse business processes across the reinsurance domain and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to define solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Prioritise requirements alongside Product Owners and key business stakeholders.
  • Act as the Reinsurance platform product specialist, helping to shape best practices and influence the product roadmap.
  • Produce high-quality business analysis documentation, including:
    • Functional specifications
    • User stories
    • Acceptance criteria
    • Process flows
    • Wireframes
  • Support projects throughout the full lifecycle, from discovery through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation.
  • Work within Agile delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
