A leading independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is seeking an experienced Workday Business Analyst to support a critical transformation programme within a global organisation operating in the speciality chemicals and sustainable technologies sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile optimisation initiative, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyse, redesign and improve Workday-enabled business processes.

6-12 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | UK Remote

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding current state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering detailed process mapping to support business transformation and operational optimisation activities. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring that process improvements align with organisational objectives and maximise the value of the existing Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders to capture requirements and understand current operating processes
  • Produce detailed process maps, workflows and documentation for current and future state business operations
  • Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation and optimisation
  • Collaborate with Workday functional teams to assess process impacts and support solution design activities
  • Define business requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables for project teams
  • Support change initiatives by ensuring business processes are aligned to transformation goals
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across HR, Finance and other business functions where required
  • Assist with process redesign, gap analysis, impact assessments and business readiness activities
  • Ensure documentation is maintained to a high standard throughout the programme lifecycle

Required Experience

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within transformation or optimisation programmes
  • Strong expertise in business process mapping, process analysis and process improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrable Workday functional knowledge and delivery experience
  • Experience documenting current state and future state processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear documentation and actionable recommendations
  • Experience working across business and technology teams within large-scale organisations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, chemicals, industrial or sustainable technology environments
  • Knowledge of organisational change and business transformation programmes
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
